Stunning Late Regency Breakfast table in Mahogany & Satinwood Crossbanding C1830
Circa 1830 we are listing a Beautiful Late Regency /Early William IV period mahogany, with satinwood crossbanding, tilt-top Breakfast table. The table top has been veneered in fine quality Mahogany veneers with a crossbanded edge in a contrasting Satinwood veneer. An outstanding quality table and an exceptionally good example of this style of early 19th Century craftsmanship. Wonderful colour and patination throughout. The table is set on a pedestal carved and fluted column with formed triangular base terminating in stylishly carved Lion paw feet and retains it’s original brass casters. Originally part of the original furniture of a large and important Country House in the UK this table will also easily fit into many smaller houses but still retain it’s practicality. For less cost than many vastly inferior modern tables this is a piece of history and quality workmanship which you can keep and pass on to the next generations. The table top can be tilted upwards and stored upright when more space is required. Dimensions: 74cm (29″) height -113cm (45.5″) wide and 125cm (49.5) in length. We can arrange it to be delivered by special express courier in the UK at very reasonable cost. This is a part of the Conception Classique range of high quality and unusual Antique furniture from the 16th Century to our own uniquely designed and produced in-house modern designs.
