Welcome to Mersham Manor Antiques. A very attractive George III mahogany tilt top table of excellent colour and characterful patina, with particularly lovely figuring to the top. With the original locking metal catch to the top section, in excellent working order. Standing on an elegant turned vase shaped column with splayed tripod legs and pad-feet. The top and bottom are a “marriage” which means they didn`t start life together, but both parts are from the same period and age, and work together as if original. In excellent antique condition, with general expected signs of use to the top, consistent with age. Glorious character and patination. Very solid sturdy and strong. Height when tilted up-114 cm.
