George III tilt top drinks table. Turned column over tripartite legs. I really adore the feet! The maker having resisted the urge to complicate or stylise them – if anything they lightly taper in toward the end into a delicate little shoe with a heel! Sometimes it’s the small things in life we appreciate so much. Nicely turned column with some good detailed reeded channels horizontally. Not 100% on the wood? Some fantastic grain and nice colour with good tones. All very sturdy and robust with a modern plate glass topper to protect it (glass has some fairly bad scratches and 2 small chips to the rim). Tilt top button/mechanism works very smoothly. Condition of table is excellent. 30″ tall with the glass on top x 24.5″. Please see all pictures.
