We bring to you the most marvellous example of a restored Regency solid Mahogany Tilt top round table of substantial size believed to be made around C1820. This table has been fully restored so is in stunning condition with a lovely highly glazed French polished finish and deep rich Mahogany colour. The stunning and very unusual table features a solid Mahogany top above its striking highly carved and substantial base which incorporates 4 large sabre legs on very large highly ornate polished brass castors. The table base incorporates beautiful highly ornate laurel carvings to the turned pillar and between the legs. The sabre style legs have carvings which follow down the top of the legs and are flanked either side by turned rosettas culminating to the heavy solid Polished brass laurel castors. This table can comfortably accommodate 4 chairs and be used as a formal dining room or even a centre or breakfast table. Already not taking up too much room because of this shape, the top tilts upright for storage with its original quality brass table screws. This item is in outstanding restored condition as shown by the photographs however being an antique item of this age there are blemishes and scuffs here and there which we feel adds to its originality and heritage.
