ITEM DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION. Fantastic example of a Georgian Rosewood antique tilt top dining table, superbly snd in extremely good original condition. The rosewood top has wonderful grain and patina and depth of colour, the table has been stored in a large country house for nearly 80 years with custom made cover (included) so top is in excellent order given it’s age, there are a few marks commensurate with age, and the table has a great aged appearance, the apron / trim around the outside of the table is gadrooned / decorated. The table will comfortably seat six people or eight at a push. The central column and is heavily decorated with carvings and motifs. The tripod base is nicely decorated with scrolls / volutes leading to decorated carved feet. The table tilts very easily using a solid brass mechanism and moves nicely on the inset brass casters. A superb table that will add period charm and wow to any interior. Height when Tilted 155. All our items are pre-owned and un- restored so unless stated as in Very Good or Excellent Condition then the item is likely to have some minor wear and tear commensurate with age. Due volume of stock we only lightly clean items, so most could be improved /embellished with a bit of elbow grease. You are welcome to use your own courier, man and van service. Please make sure they know that collections must be on a pre-arranged week day between 9:30am – 4:00pm.
