Antique Tilt Top Breakfast Table. This is a good quality Mahogany Tilt Top Breakfast Table from the early 19thC. The table is made from solid mahogany throughout. The top is made from two planks of figured Honduran mahogany and has rounded corners with a reed moulded edge. The top is supported on a barrel and ring column with quatrefoil legs that terminate with brass castors. Condition, is good, the table is strong, clean and has a good polish and patination. The top has slight shrinkage gap between the two planks which has been secured and stabilised at some time by the insertion of two’butterfly’ wedges to the underside.
