This is an Excellent Example of a Late George III Mahogany Tilt-Top Occasional Table Circa 1810. The circular tilted mahogany top folds down to a brass locking mechanism and the whole stands on a central turned baluster mahogany stem on three splayed legs with pad feet. Tel: +44 (0)7973 541 308. Antique Georgian Mahogany Tilt Top Occasional Table. A wonderful original George III period snap top table in mahogany. This is of lovely quality and is a useful size. The mahogany has acquired a gorgeous colour tone and patina, the top can be tilted up with an original brass catch mechanism. This table sits on a solid mahogany splayed tripod base, it is sturdy and sound. There is lots of old wear and character on the table top, we have had this re-polished and revived, the condition is very good for its age. Width – 25 inches, 63 cm Depth – 25 inches, 63 cm Height – 28 inches, 71 cm. Bankers Draft (Pounds Sterling Only). Cash on collection only. We have been dealing in antiques for over twenty-five years. Our client base is very loyal, and we have many long-term relationships with both private and trade customers. Solid oak Georgian style tilt-top inlaid breakfast table. Clear finish to show natural oak colour of the wood. Rectangular solid oak top with radiused corners. Ross-banded edge with ebony line. Canon-barrel turned solid oak pedestal below a solid oak top-block. Three out-swept solid oak sabre legs with further ebony line detail terminating in b. Rass square cap casters. Pair of brass thumb-bolts to enable easy dismantling of the top from the pedestal for ease of transport/moving. Quality vintage piece of furniture. This is an elegant Georgian mahogany tilt-action tripod table in lovely condition with a good rich colour and a glorious patina. The table has a shaped circular piecrust top on fluted and turned stem and leaf-wrapped downswept legs with typical Georgian pad feet. The table is in really nice clean condition with only a minor ageing split to the top which is not that visible and best seen highlighted in the last photograph. It has its original brass snap action catch to the underside which is in perfect working order. This is a very elegant piece from around 1830 and is a good size measuring 84 cms in diameter by 73cms in height. You are most welcome to call and collect from Rams Head Antiques Wolsingham in Weardale Open Saturday 11am till 3pm or by appointment. 19th Century French walnut tilt-top table on tripod base. Table top is one solid piece of walnut and is 72 cm in diameter. The height of the table when tilted up is 109 cm. When the top is tilted down the height is 69 cm. The top of the table reflects normal wear and tear, but no significant blemishes.
